Portsea Open Amateur

Day 1
A perfect day at Portsea with no wind, blue skies and warm sunshine! With a full field the players relished the opportunity to play this amazing golf course with pin point accuracy and delicate touch around the greens.

Day 2
Tougher conditions with light rain and wind. Jeneath Wong posted the best round in the women’s field with a fabulous score of 68. Scoring for the men was tougher with the best round for the day was a 69 from Adam Tsiamis.

Day 3 (36 holes)
Perfect weather for Day saw the players who made the cut take full advantage of the sublime conditions. Scoring for the women on the 3rd round really slowed down with the best score being a 71 from Konomi Matsumoto and Jessica Zhu. However the tide turn and we saw a fantastic 67 from Jeneath Wong in the 4th round. Caleb Bovalina led the men on the 3rd round with a brilliant round of 65 playing some flawless golf. The 4th round for the men heated up with 9 players going under par and three players posting top scores of 67.

Congratulations to our winners Jeneath Wong and Jasper Stubbs as our Portsea Open Amateur Champions for 2022.
