Sunday Mixed Canadian Foursomes

The Spring Tournament concluded with Mixed Foursomes on Sunday afternoon.

The Winners of the Gross Event were Peter Bolt and Leanne Marshall with a gross score of 84.

The winners of the nett section were John and Dot Huddle.  This capped off a fantastic weekend for Dot Huddle which included winning the McDonald Trophy and a Hole in One on Friday.

The Stroke round has several major trophies up for grabs in both the Men’s and Women’s events.

In the women’s event the winner of the McDonald Trophy for the best nett score of the day was won by Dot Huddle with a score of 72 to take the title.  The Delgany Plate (Best Gross) was won by Jenny Jeffreys with a scratch score of 77.

In the Men’s section the winner of the Armytage Cup with the best nett score of the day was John Walkington from the Gunamatta Golf Club with a fantastic score of 67.

Friday 4BBB Results

The first day of the Spring Tournament kicked off in glorious spring conditions.

In the Women’s event Kristine Holden from Portsea Golf Club and Inger Rothschild from Lakeside Ladies took out the event with a great score of 43 points on a countback from two other groups.

In the Men’s section Kenny Sheppard from Portsea and Brian Russell from Mansfield finished one shot clear of the field combining well to score 44 points.
