As we come into our busiest time of year, it is important to remind members of the right of way on course, especially between holes 8 and 9. Do not hit until everyone is completely out of range. It is the hitting player’s responsibility to make sure that no one is in range, and not knowing if that’s the case when playing blind shots is not an excuse. Your safety is our top priority, and golf balls hit while people are in range due to impatience or with the intention to ‘hurry people up’ will not be tolerated. As members you will all know where the blind shots are, and it is your responsibility to look. If someone does get hit, this must be reported to the Club as we keep a register of these incidents.
